紫外光油墨當受到紫外光的照射可以即時固化，可以縮短固化的時間。現在紫外光油墨在印刷行業已很通行，因為它是環保的材料，不含溶劑。傳統的溶劑性油墨的抗磨力和抗化學品的能力，不能和紫外光油墨相比。
