IEAT and NZTDC collaborated in exploring further business opportunities between the two regions
The Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei (IEAT) and New Zealand Trade Development Centre (NZTDC) jointly
organized a seminar on the topic of opening up new opportunities in Taiwan-New Zealand trade and economic cooperation.
The event was held respectively on May 30 in Taipei and on May 31 in Taichung. It received warm response from about 180
representatives of various industries.
To build on the achievements of ANZTEC in the past decade, IEAT invited NZTDC Director Tina Wilson and a panel of
speakers to provide micro and macro perspectives for in-depth analysis of economic developments and market trends in two
regions. The panel consisted of NZTDC officers; Liu Da Nien, Director of Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research,
Regional Development Study Center; Sera Chang, General Manager of New Tai Milk Products; and Mr. Andy Wang, Sales
Manager of Wellell Asia Pacific & Emerging Market. Their insights inspired the audience while informing the business
community about future prospects and opportunities.
