HandInScan的產品是Semmelweis手部衛生品質保證系統。這是一套專門用於監控和提升手部衛生的數位健康技術。其核心設備是Semmelweis掃描儀，能實時、客觀地評估個人的手部衛生情況，結合人工智慧提供即時的視覺和數字反饋，以改進手部消毒技術，防止醫療相關感染（HAI）。這套系統還包括專用的含紫外線劑的消毒液、報告生成軟體、個人化的訓練和監控等​​​​。

HandInScan Zrt. was incorporated in 2016, as the legal successor of a spin-off company from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). Founders were ambitious engineers, aiming to create a digital health technology to objectively control clinical hand hygiene performance. The core piece of our solution was named Semmelweis Scanner, honouring the heritage of the great Austro-Hungarian physician Ignaz Semmelweis, who was first to discover the importance of hand hygiene. HandInScan’s innovation received numerous international awards, including the ICPIC Innovation Academy award (2011), Red Dot Design Award – ‘15&’20, the EIT Health GoEurope award (2016) and the iF Gold Award – Medical service design (2020). After the initial successful validation in the clinical environment, the application domains were significantly extended and next we aim to tackle the biggest challenge of all, to fight pandemic outbreaks.
