Our history

Vista Larga emerged as a family project with the aim of sustainably producing the most representative crops of La Rioja: olive, vine, and walnut trees.

These lands had been chosen by the Jesuits to cultivate their vineyards until they were expelled in the 18th century, the same place where Joaquín V. González was inspired to write My Mountains.

Since then, the Huaco Valley has gone unnoticed from a productive point of view. Trusting in the bet that the Jesuits had made centuries ago, we decided to take up the challenge again.

ArgOliva is the most important event in the region. It is an international event that seeks, through its different activities, to strengthen and promote the development of the olive sector, allowing the active participation of the different public and private actors in a unique space of professionalism and exchange of experiences. Our oil obtained the first place, in the small producers category

The IX International Contest of Extra Virgin Olive Oils "Domingo Faustino Sarmiento Award" is recognized as the most important in America for the excellent quality of the oils that participate year after year and for the level of the members of the Evaluation Committee.
